Strategies to Prevent and De-Escalate Crisis Situations Ethical Values, Principles, and Responsibilities
August 15: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
This is a foundational level training on the ethical values, principles, and responsibilities that guide those working in the social service professions. Participants will increase their understanding of the importance of ethical practice and how unethical behavior impacts themselves, their clients, their employer, their community, and beyond. This will be accomplished using activities, discussion, practice case scenarios, and videos. They will also gain an understanding of how these guiding responsibilities help social workers in adherence to commitments made to employers, employing organizations, and colleagues.
