SUMMARY:Trauma Responsive Strategies
DESCRIPTION:In this session\, trainees will explore the profound impact that trauma can have on young people’s emotional\, social\, behavioral\, and developmental wellbeing. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how traumatic experiences can influence the way young people think\, feel\, communicate\, and respond to the world around them. The session will also provide practical\, trauma-informed strategies that can be implemented to promote emotional regulation\, foster a sense of physical and psychological safety\, uphold dignity and respect\, and strengthen supportive communication.
