This session offers practical tools to build meaningful connections, support goal setting and future planning, and help older youth prepare for a confident transition into adulthood.
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
• Engage with older youth in an effective way
• Distinguish between mentoring and advocacy effectively
• Explain how the adolescent to adulthood development cycle informs older youth strategies
• Identify resources that can assist older youth
• Encourage older youth to build relationships and community
