Paula Creps, Sarpy CASA Program Director

Paula Creps, Program Director

Paula earned her Bachelor Degree in Psychology from UNL and her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from UNO. Working over 25 years in Human Service, she has experience in a variety of different areas including Child Welfare, Foster Care Services and Domestic Violence Programming.

As our program manager, Paula oversees operations for Sarpy County CASA. She supervises volunteers, secures grant funding, fundraises, speaks at public events, coordinates events, collaborating with community professionals and serves on various boards and committees.

Paula lives in Papillion. She is married with two sons.

Tara Williamson, Sarpy CASA Volunteer Specialist

Tara Williamson, Volunteer Specialist

Tara received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Protection and Juvenile Justice from Bellevue University.

As our Volunteer Specialist, Tara supervises advocates, leads new case handling & procedures, coordinates on-going training opportunities, organizes and assists with various Sarpy County CASA events, and oversees our program marketing.

Tara currently resides in Papillion with her husband and their two sons.

Candi Marcantel, Sarpy CASA Volunteer Coordinator

Candi Marcantel, Volunteer Coordinator

Candi was awarded her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bellevue University. Her Master’s Degree is in Organizational Management with a specialization in Public Administration from Ashford University. Currently, she is earning her PhD in Transformative Social Change from Saybrook University. Candi has been working in the child welfare arena in Nebraska and North Dakota for nearly 25 years.

As our Volunteer Coordinator, Candi supervises volunteers, coordinates family drug court, speaks at public events, screens and trains new volunteers, and serves on various committees and boards. She is a qualified expert witness for Indian Child Welfare Act matters and a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Candi has four children and six grandchildren.

Jennifer Simmonds, Sarpy CASA Administrative Assistant

Jennifer Simmonds, Administrative Assistant

Jenn keeps the CASA office organized and on track with day to day operations while making sure families are taken care of as they check in for court hearings. She is the first point of contact at our Sarpy County CASA office which is located in Juvenile Court at the Sarpy County Courthouse. Her degree is in applied science.

Jenn currently resides in LaVista with her husband and two daughters.
