Navigating Postpartum Depression
November 4
Postpartum depression (PPD) affects many new parents yet is clouded by stigma, fear, and confusion. Without a clear understanding of how PPD differs from expected adjustment after childbirth, many families delay seeking help until symptoms become severe.
This session reframes postpartum depression as a discernible and treatable condition. By unpacking biological, psychosocial, and systemic factors, the training supports earlier recognition and more effective intervention pathways. Viewers will leave with a stronger foundation for understanding, identifying, and responding to PPD in themselves, their loved ones, or their clients.
