Moving beyond trauma-informed to trauma-responsive support for families
April 22
Children and parents in foster, adoptive, and kinship families have varied and complex trauma experiences. As a result, there has been a strong focus on becoming trauma-informed in our child welfare practices. However, to truly meet the complex needs of families, it’s important for agencies to move beyond trauma-informed to provide trauma-responsive support to children, their families and caregivers. During this webinar, participants will learn strategies to make support services for families more trauma-responsive.
