Inclusivity and Advocacy How to be an Effective CASA
May 18
CASA advocates are guided by the “best interest” principle advocacy for children. CASA advocates become experts on appointed children, can identify their needs, and provide recommendations to the court. This session helps answer the questions:
1. How do I obtain all the needed information for my court report?
2. How do I become the child(ren)’s expert and voice in court?
3. How do I explain my role to others?
This session dives into the importance of being an intentional and inclusive advocate.
