Early Childhood Mental Health Webinar

May 4

This webinar reviews development and attachment in early childhood. Our presenter, Jason J. Dillard MSEd, LIMHP, LADC, also provides a simplified understanding of how traumatic events in a child’s life can alter that development and impact attachment. You will learn different methods used to assess attachment and development levels in young children and a basic understanding of some of the types of therapies used when working with children who have experienced trauma. Jason Dillard is an outpatient therapist who works in Lexington Nebraska. He has a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He has been practicing since June of 2017 at Plum Creek Medical Group. Jason primarily works with children and adolescents and has completed extra trainings to work with infants and very young children including certification in DC: 0-5. He has also completed the Child Parent Psychotherapy cohort in the summer of 2020 and the Parent Child Interaction Therapy cohort in the summer of 2022. He also works closely with the courts and the Department of Health and Human Services on cases for children in the foster care system.
