Inclusivity and Advocacy: How to be an Effective CASA

The Nebraska CASA Association is pleased to announce a free virtual CASA training, entitled, Inclusivity and Advocacy; How to be an Effective CASA . Speakers include: Adairah Thapa, Advocate Coordinator with CASA for Douglas County, Lara Swerczek is the Regional Director for DHHS in the Northern Service Area and Sarah Guyette has been a CASA for 3.5 years.

We will be highlighting CASA advocates are guided by the “best interest” principle advocacy for children. CASA advocates become the experts on appointed children, can identify their needs, and provide recommendations to the court.
