This training covers the basics of child welfare law and practice for social workers in Kansas. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, the following: Court decorum and presentation, who is in the courtroom, types of court hearings, and differing case plan goal objectives.

• Anyone is welcome to attend any ILC, regardless of their position, as long as they have their Supervisor’s approval
• All ILCs are free
• The CEUs listed below are based on our experience of what BSRB will approve and are not guaranteed
• Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the dates of the ILCs
• If there are not 10 participants registered for each ILC 3 days prior to the ILCs, the ILCs may be cancelled
• A few days prior to each virtual ILC, you will receive an email with the link to join the ILC
• Participants who are more than 15 minutes late will not receive credit for ILCs
