
Trauma 101: Overview

This training is designed to provide a foundational level of knowledge and skills for working with people who have experienced traumatic events and who are involved with the child welfare system. The training reviews the definitions and types of trauma, as well as introduces the impact of trauma on development. It also explores safety, permanency, wellbeing, and resilience in relation to trauma.
- Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the dates of the ILCs
- If there are not 10 participants registered for each ILC 3 days prior to the ILCs, the ILCs may be cancelled
- A few days prior to each virtual ILC, you will receive an email with the link to join the ILC
- Participants who are more than 15 minutes late will not receive credit for ILCs
