Ethics of Cultural Humility
June 19: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Participants will gain an understanding of the definition of and implications for Cultural Humility as it relates to race, differently abled, person first language, religion, LGBTQ+ and bullying & discrimination. People will discuss how our cultural lenses are formed and what makes up a person’s culture. Lastly, participants will understand the difference between discrimination and bullying and our responsibility to recognize those for the purpose of intervening and protecting.
- Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the dates of the ILCs
- If there are not 10 participants registered for each ILC 3 days prior to the ILCs, the ILCs may be cancelled
- A few days prior to each virtual ILC, you will receive an email with the link to join the ILC
- Participants who are more than 15 minutes late will not receive credit for ILCs
