Depressive Disorders Diagnosis & Treatment

March 6: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Depressive Disorders are characterized by persistent feelings of sorrow, worthlessness and a lack of desire to engage in formerly pleasurable activities. Emptiness, irritable mood, and sadness are accompanied by changes within a person that impacts their capacity to function. The variance among the Depressive Disorders are duration, timing, and causes and the most recent DSM-5-TR sought to clarify these elements of diagnostic criteria and specifiers. This training provides an overview of each to aid in differentiation. In addition to diagnostic criteria, this training offers best-practice treatment options and how to work with clients who have a diagnosis under the umbrella of Depressive Disorders.
