Much has been written about the impact of trauma on the developing brain, but this training will explore what happens when children are forced to question the benevolence of a God who allows them to be abused. It will explore some of the spiritual injury research and how to use a child’s belief in a higher power to help them heal. Also explored will be practical steps for exploring a child’s spirituality and avoiding further trauma when their offender is a person of their faith community.

• Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the dates of the ILCs
• If there are not 10 participants registered for each ILC 3 days prior to the ILCs, the ILCs may be cancelled
• A few days prior to each virtual ILC, you will receive an email with the link to join the ILC
• Participants who are more than 15 minutes late will not receive credit for ILCs
